With summery temperatures and a special ambience, we were able to hold the tasting in the cultural "Quartierbeiz 13" instead of at the OHA.

Â
The tasting winner and most popular wine of the day was the Woodstock Pilot's View 2015. Lobethal Sauvignon Blanc was the most popular white wine, which, by the way, fell victim to the inferno in the Adelaide Hills at the beginning of the year. Dave and Inga from Lobethal Road Wines were lucky in their misfortune. Their house and the rest of the winery remained undamaged except for smoke damage.

At the beginning of the year, massive fires almost destroyed the Lobethal Road winery.

Thanks to the brilliant weather and the great discipline of all guests, all regulations and distances between the various groups could be maintained. We were able to use the "Quartierbeiz 13" for ourselves until late into the night. Marco did everything to ensure that our wine friends had a perfect tasting experience.

Happy faces in Thun

Â
If you missed the event – no problem! Instead of the Bern Wine Fair, we are holding a tasting in Wabern at our main store from October 15-17, just 20 minutes from Thun. Those interested can also view all dates for the Tour de Wyhus here, and register directly online, by phone, or by email.
