Founded by Geoff Hardy, a pioneer of Australian viticulture, the K1 winery is located in the picturesque Kuitpo region and was the first commercial winery in this area. Since its beginnings in 1987, Geoff has planted over 3,000 hectares of vineyards and contributed his expertise to more than 200 vineyards in Australia, France, and Italy. Today, the winery is run by the Hardy family with the same passion and dedication.

Sustainability at the Heart

At K1 Wines, sustainability is at the core of all activities. Inspired by Geoff's mother, environmentalist Dr. Barbara Hardy, the winery focuses on sustainable farming methods that prioritize the protection and promotion of biodiversity. These eco-friendly practices improve soil health and minimize the use of chemical sprays.
