Redgate Wines is located in the west of Australia, in the Margaret River region. The winery was founded in 1976 by Will Ullinger and his son Paul.

The first vines were planted in 1977, and the first vintage was released in 1981. As early as 1982, Redgate won the award for best Cabernet at the Adelaide Wine Show, and since then, Redgate has stood for top quality on a small scale.
