Description
Grapes from vines over 50 years old in the Rioja Alavesa region. Traditional winemaking, i.e., mash fermentation and aging in 50% Russian and 50% French oak barrels. Maturation period of approx. 12 months. Followed by bottle aging for another 12 months. Dark garnet red color with violet reflections. Intense notes of ripe red berries, as well as balsamic impressions. Powerful on the tongue, warm, silky and rounded. Fresh, elegant finish. Very good balance of fruit and wood. Can continue to age well and for a long time.
